Etmologicamente a palavra quiropraxia significa: quiro, prefixo grego de m\u00e3o<\/em> e praxis, sufixo de feito manualmente<\/em>, e foi desenvolvida por Daniel Palmer em 1895, nos Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

\u00c9 um tratamento em que o quirop\u00e1tico utiliza suas m\u00e3os para alinhar a coluna vertebral e ajustar seus desvios aliviando dores, promovendo maior flexibilidade, corrigindo postura incorreta, agindo preventivamente e levando bem estar e qualidade de vida aos pacientes.<\/p>\n

Muitos desses desvios ocasionam dores de cabe\u00e7a, pois a fun\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema do nervoso \u00e9 afetada, incluindo as articula\u00e7\u00f5es que perdem suas fun\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n
